Thunder Dome Rigging

Rigging design and installation of the Riders of the Thunder Dome at the Thomas and Mack Center LV Nevada. Used during 2005 Las Vegas Extreme Show Jumping Invitational.

Screen Frame Rigging

Autocad 3D drawing of conceptual design for Cirque Du Soleil’s “Love” at the Mirage. Design was accepted and installed in 2005.

Rio Load Test

Rigging project management for PRG/ Rio Hotel Convention Center truss grid installation. 1500 pound concrete blocks were suspended under grid to load test grid to full capacity as part of acceptance testing.

Phantom of the Opera

Rigging support and installation of suspended work platform at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. The platform was suspended 60 feet in the air by 12 1 ton CM load star motors. The platform was used to install the ceiling in the new Phantom of the Opera show room. The platform was moved around the circular ceiling opening 45 degrees per move 9 times.

MRI Machine Installation

MRI machine installation for Silver State Wire Rope and Rigging. Each one on of the 32 individual 8” thick steel pieces, weighed from 600 pounds to 10,000 pounds. Lifting and setting the larger units required a 5 ton reach all fork lift and multiple lever tools and manual chain hoists. Total weight of the finished machine was 250,000 pounds.

Wheel of Death Double Wheel Fabrication

Wheel of Death double wheel fabrication. Cirque Du Soleil at the MGM hired Setpoint Design and Production to fabricate a duplicate double wheel unit. This way the house crew will be able to remove the original unit every 3 months and replace it with the second unit. This project is scheduled to be completed at the end of September 2006.
